If we have to return for a second visit to fix the fault we will only charge for the spare part(s).

All machines are unique, however, before you call have a look at these common problems and suggested fixes.

The machine won’t turn on

Visually inspect your plug and socket or switch, check the fuse in the plug from the appliance with the one you know works at the correct rating. Plugin another device to check it functions, then plug your appliance in an extension lead into another socket and check it comes back on. Check the child locks if still not functioning.

The machine won’t fill

Check the inlet tap is turning on and off ok, check the fill hose to the washing machine isn’t kinked or pinched, or check the water supply pressure (remove the hose from the appliance and place it into a suitable container then turn on the water to check).

The machine won’t drain

Check your filter is clear, then visually look at your drain hose to see if it’s kinked or squashed. Put the end of the drain hose into a bucket and check if the appliance drains.

The machine doesn’t wash properly

Check that your spray arms are clear of any objects in the spray jets and they turn freely, and that your filter is locked into place.
