Frequently Asked Questions

All machines are unique, however, before you call have a look at these common problems and suggested fixes.

Check inlet tap is turning on and off ok, check fill hose to washing machine isn’t kinked or pinched, or check water supply pressure. (Remove hose from appliance and place into suitable container then turn on water to check).

Visually inspect your plug and socket or switch, check fuse in plug from appliance, with one you know works at the correct rating. Plug in another device to check it functions, then plug your appliance in an extension lead into another socket and check it comes back on. Check child locks if still not functioning.

Check your filter is clear, then visually look at your drain hose to see if its kinked or squashed. Put the end of the drain hose into a bucket and check if the appliance drains.

Check filter and drain hose as per handbook instructions. Retest with no load – if appliance spins normally, the fault was caused by an uneven load. Larger loads will help.

Remove the dispenser tray and clean it (lift out the softener tray and clean any internal parts).
