Frequently Asked Questions

All machines are unique, however, before you call have a look at these common problems and suggested fixes.

Never take the exterior cover off your microwave, only a qualified person should remove it.

Visually inspect your plug and socket, check the fuse in the plug from the appliance, with one you know works at the correct rating. Plugin another device into the socket and check it functions, then plug your appliance in an extension lead into another socket and check it comes back on.

If your microwave has poor performance, clean the interior as this will make sure it will perform to the best of its ability

Clean your oven according to the instructions in the manual. Don’t use abrasives, which may wear off the coating. Check the wheel axels underneath. Only use microwave-safe cookware (check your manual if you’re unclear what this is). Never use crockery or glass-decorated cookware with gold or silver, or metal/aluminium foil
